On May 24th, a series of events will take place in memory of our friend Sebastián Touza, organized by the Direction of Communications of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, the Library of the National University of Cuyo, the program of Informatics and Society, which Sebastián led and which is now under Ariel Benasayag’s work.

The most special thing, for me is the donation of Sebastián’s personal library to the University’s library, by his wife, Cecilia Pereyra (11.30 am). Sebastián studied in Canadá after getting his BA in Mendoza, and also travelled and was part of different intelectual collectives. His translation work is also very important, for example, he translated from italian Silvia Federici’s “Calibán y la Bruja”, and from english aTiziana Terranova’s and George Caffentzis’ books, among others. Therefore, his personal library will be very important to keep learning about books and authors from other places, and from his personal interests.

These are the different activities:

8:30 – Encuentro de la Red Federal de Filosofía de la técnica. Seminario Transversal INCIHUSA. [Actividad híbrida]
📍 Lugar: Sala Talampaya, CCT-CONICET.
